The
truck slowed down and came to a stop. Charmander looked
around. The rain had changed from a storm to a drizzle.
The flame on Charmander's tail was unaffected. A man
outside picked up the box with Charmander in it. I'll
attack them when I get out of this box, Charmander
thought. The lid on the box opened. Charmander stared at
the lid while it was lifted. The man outside had on a
strange suit. Darn, it must be flameproof, thought
Charmander. "Okay, let's see what we have
here," said the man. "Ah,
a fine specimen. This is the one I'm going to work
with." The man picked Charmander up, put him on a
scale, and took his measurements. "2 feet and 18
pounds," said the man. "We need to feed this
pokemon up to make him 19 pounds," said the man.
"Hey, Pete, we need a water test for this
pokemon." "Okay, Dr. Hector," replied
Pete. Charmander knew what this meant and tried to run.
The man just held on to him. "Okay, let's get you to
the pool." "Charr mander er..." complained
Charmander.
Dr.
Hector brought Charmander to the pool and strapped
Charmander to a table. He took out an eyedropper and
filled it up with water. Charmander closed his eyes and
prepared for the worst. He dropped a small drop of water
on his head. "Chaaarrrrrr!" screamed
Charmander. "There, that wasn't so bad, was
it," he said. Charmander looked angry, but he
thought that it didn't really hurt at all. Dr. Hector
then took his eyedropper and said "Okay, this might
hurt a little." Charmander struggled to break free.
He then breathed out a large flame. Dr. Hector expected
this and didn't flinch. He took the eyedropper and
prepared to squirt water on Charmander's tail flame.
Charmander
took a deep breath and then held it. Beads of sweat were
on the man's head. He prepared to squeeze the end of the
eyedropper. Charmander fainted before the water reached
his tail. The water hit Charmander's tail. The man
smiled. Then, someone kicked open the door. It was
Sonador. Behind him was Reve carrying her Slowbro with
her Bulbasaur at her side.
