When Cerrie and Ardus woke up they were tied up in the cave. "Our only hope is that Truf will come and help us," said Ardus. "Then we're doomed!," replied Cerrie. Cerrie and Ardus looked around. "Team Rocket is not around," said Ardus. Ardus spots his backpack and pokeballs on a table. "Hey look there, there are our pokeballs," he said. "Too bad, we can't call them out," replied Cerrie.

Meanwhile Truf, Pikachu, and Charmander awaken. Truf is tied up and Charmander and Pikachu are in a cage. They look around and see they are in a room. "Pikaa pi! (I'm really hungry)," said Pikachu. "Me too," replied Truf. They heard footsteps coming to the door. "Hello there, I'm Circie from Team Rocket. We're generous so we'll allow you to keep one Pokemon. Okay how many do you have?" said Circie. "I only have Charmander and Pikachu. Leave them alone," replied Truf. "No really kid, how many do you have?" asked Circie angrily. "No really, I only have these two pokemon," said Truf. "Don't worry, Circie. Maybe his pokemon are strong," said Adon.

"Okay, Seaking do you stuff. Fight that Charmander," said Adon. "Let's see how long that charmander can last." Adon opens the cage and lets Charmander out. "Okay Seaking, use Waterfall." Seaking gushes water from his mouth. Charmander is weakened. "I wonder what the charmander will do?" said Circie. Charmander looked at Seaking and bopped on top of his head. "Hey, that's not fair!," yelled Adon. Charmander looked at Adon and Circie and breathed out a big flame. "Chaaaarrrrr!" "Seaking, stop him!" yelled Adon. Seaking shot out water but it couldn't hit Charmander because he was on top of him. Charmander went over to the surprised Team Rocket and scratched their faces. Team Rocket fainted from shock.

"Quick, Charmander go for help. Find Ardus and Cerrie," said Truf to Charmander. Charmander heads to the door but turns back and leaves a slice of apple pie for Truf and Pikachu. Charmander reaches up and opens the door. Outside the door is rock. "Oh no, we're in a cave!" yells Truf. They were in a secret room at Mount Moon.

Charmander heads outside. He looks around and starts walking. Meanwhile Ardus and Cerrie are trying to think of a way to escape. "We're going to be trapped in here the rest of our lives," said Cerrie. A small pink pokemon passes them. "Cleefairy," the pokemon says. "Wow! A clefairy, I always wanted one of those," said Ardus. "Me too, but we are tied up. We can't catch it," said Cerrie. "Too bad, they're very rare," replied Ardus. They hear a sweet song and feel drowsy. Not long later they fall asleep.
