"Come out Pikachu." says Truf while tapping the pokeball. "Pika pikkkaaa! (hello!)" said the pikachu. "Char charmander char (Nice to meet you). "Hey Pikachu do you want some of Brock's Pokemon Food?" asks Truf. "Pika pikaaa" says Pikachu shaking his head. Truf takes out an apple and starts munching. "Pikaaachu!" "Okay Pikachu you can have my apple. We don't have much food left but I guess we can get some when we get to town tonight" says Truf. "A Pikachu aaaaaahhhhhhh!" yells a girl. "Hello there, who are you?" asks Truf. "Where did you find that pikachu? I've been looking here forever and I still didn't find one!!!" says the girl. "I just stumbled onto it." "Want to trade?! asks the girl. "No way!" answers Truf. "Even for a Kakuna?" asks the girl. "No, I think I'll just stick with Pikachu, he's the first pokemon I caught." answers Truf.

"Oh well, I'm heading the Pewter City. I bet I can make it there before you, meet you there at the Pokemon Center." says the girl. "Wait!" Truf yelled but the girl was on her skateboard so far ahead that she couldn't hear him anymore. "That was a weird girl." Truf said. "Pikachu return." Pikachu shakes his head. "If you do I'll give you an apple." Truf says. "Pikkaa" Pikachu says while nodding his head. Pikachu returns to the ball. Truf gets on his bike and says "Charmander return." Charmander returns to the pokeball. "Wait, it's getting dark Charmander come out." Truf picks up Charmander and puts him on the bike. "Nice and bright, thanks Charmander" said Truf. "Pika pika pikachu, pika pika pikachu" sings Truf. "I've got a pikachu, pikachu" he sings again. "Charmander" says Charmander sadly.

"What's the matter Charmander? I'm sorry I didn't give you any food, here's an apple" says Truf. Truf hands Charmander the apple. "Charmander" Charmander says again sadly. Truf continues with his song. After a while Truf looks around. "I think we're lost" he says. "Char char (Ohhh)." "Let's camp out here tonight and find our way out of the forest tomorrow" says Truf. Truf takes out his camping supplies and sets them up.

The sun shines and wakes Truf. "Hey, Charmander wake up. Charmander? Where are you?" Truf looks around. He sees Charmander running towards him carrying a bunch of berries. "Hey Charmander, berrries! Thanks." says Truf. "Come out Pikachu." Pikachu comes out and all of them start stuffing there faces with berries. After all the berries were eaten they got up and started walking. Truf looked at his map. "Yes we are here in Viridian Forest and Pewter City isn't far away." After 15 minutes of walking they arrived in Pewter City. "Hey, let's go challenge Brock, I can't wait!"
