The Old Man

"I don't get many visitors around here," said the old man. "I live alone, and when you came in, I thought you were my granddaughter who is coming to visit tomorrow. She might have gotten here early. I don't get to see her often because she's always on business.

Let me offer you a warm place to sleep and some food. I have plenty of room. I have more than enough food. I gathered extra for my granddaughter, but I have more than enough for all of us." "Thanks, that's very kind!" exclaimed Truf. "I'll be glad to have a comfortable place to sleep for once," said Cerrie. "Me too," said Ardus. "It's hard to get a good night's sleep when you're sleeping on the ground," he added.

"Come this way," said the old man. The old man walked to the room on the right, and then two rooms up. "Here you are. This is perfect room for a young man like you," said the old man looking at Ardus. The old man looked across Ardus's room. "Here's one perfect for a very pretty girl like you, young lady," said the old man looking at Cerrie. Cerrie smiled. The old man walked back towards the staircase. "Where will I stay?" asked Truf. "Don't worry, I have a perfect place for you," replied the old man. "You can have the room right next to mine," said the old man.

"I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Alderen, the old man who lives in these woods," said the old man. "I'm Truf, pokemon trainer on a quest to become a pokemon master," said Truf. "I'm Cerrie, pokemon trainer destined to become a pokemon master," said Cerrie. "I'm Ardus, who also aspires to become a pokemon master," added Ardus.

"What an ambitious bunch," said Alderen. "Alderen, that name sounds familiar," said Ardus pondering. "Enough talk, let's eat," said Alderen. "Oh wow, we've haven't eaten all day," exclaimed Cerrie. Alderen picked up a lantern and lit it. He lead Truf, Ardus, and Cerrie down the stairs.

Truf, Ardus, and Cerrie enjoyed a delicious meal of soup, and homemade bread. "It's very late. We better go to bed. Good night, see you in the morning," said the old man. Truf, Ardus, and Cerrie went to their rooms, and crawled into the warm comfortable beds there.
